Hello Parents,

We hope you all had a great Family Day Weekend and got outside to enjoy the beautiful weather.
With the weather turning warmer, we will be going outside EVERYDAY:)
Please ensure your child has appropriate outdoor wear.
With the snow, you will need snowpants, boots, jacket, hat and mittens. When the snow melts, you will need to make sure your child has  RUBBER BOOTS so we can go outside for walks in the puddles:)

Room 18 has been focusing on the story "The Three Little Pigs." We read the story, and re-enacted the story with props. The children have had the opportunity to re-tell the story with our props at our small table, as well as recreate it through crafts during center time. Our class has been enjoying learning how to play "What Time is it Mr. Wolf" as well as "Wolf Tag" during our gym time.

Next week we will be turning our attention to the story "Pete the Cat."

Room 7 (Mrs. Burch's) class are reading "Pete the Cat" and have just finished reading "Pete the Cat, I Love my White Shoes" and will be reading "Four Groovy Buttons" next week.
We will also be moving on to learn about Spring and Birds.
This week we decorated and designed our own shoes and got to use glitter glue.
We've also been spending a lot of time in the gym and outside moving our bodies.

Just a reminder that IPP meetings are coming up again on March 19 and 20th. We will notify you when you can sign up for meetings.

As always, if you have any question or concerns, please contact Rachel or Tracey at

Cheers,
