In December we learned about Bears, Clothing, and Winter. Our circle story for our Winter theme was “The Mitten," the students put the animals into the mitten and once they ran away in the story, the helped to find them and put them back into the story. We also looked at the story “Sneezy the Snowman”, and the students looked into what is hot and cold. At circle, they were singing “The Five Little Snowmen”, and “Skating on a Rink”. We also practiced for the winter concert, and sang the songs “I’m a Little Snowman”, and “Snowflake, Snowflake.” The students have participated in various crafts, such as: snowflake stamps, paper mittens and 3D painting. In gym, the students have been working on parachute games and various running activities.
Each year we conduct a survey with our current EDC families to help us with our planning for the following school year. This year we are collecting information from families through an electronic survey. The survey will remain open until January 8th. Thanks,
